Hot Rods and Heels was born like all great American inventions- on a cocktail napkin at a bar; this one happened to be written in Dallas in October of 2008. Since then it has grown to become the Largest Pin-Up Event in Texas and a not to be missed annual tradition in the vintage community.

Every year, producer Shoshana of Through the Looking Glass Studio and co-producer Kerry of Sin Metal Records assemble a rotating team made of artists, performers, and producers known as “The Darlings of Hot Rods and Heels” to help organize the event.

While Dallas hosts our festival every year, we strive to include the best of the best from all over Texas. Hot Rods and Heels will bring the best in pin-up, burlesque, vintage vendors, classic rides, and industry workshops. The evening comes to an end with the awards presentation that recognizes the greatest talents in Texas in the areas of burlesque, pin-up, photography, and makeup artistry.
